Annual Appeal 2021

November 9, 2021 | Category: Fundraisers, News

Each year Cetronia Ambulance Corps sends an Annual Appeal mailing to the residents and businesses located within its emergency coverage territory. Your donation, large or small, is critical to our day-to-day operations. We like to think of ourselves as making a difference in this community one call at a time. Won’t you please help with our lifesaving mission?

This is Cetronia … protecting lives in the community for over 65 years!

ONE GOAL IN MIND

Over six decades ago, when a group of volunteers raised enough money to purchase the first Cetronia ambulance, they had one goal in mind: service. Putting the needs of the community first has been a part of our DNA since the beginning, but we can’t do it alone.

Your support of our annual appeal fills an important gap in our funding. Many think that emergency medical services are operated solely through local, state, or even federal dollars. That is certainly not the case. We operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on generous donations from dedicated and involved community members like you.

ANSWERING THE CALL TO SERVE

Whether it’s providing emergency ambulance service, taking nursing students on ride-alongs, providing a hands-on summer youth camp, or certifying the public in basic first aid and CPR, we’re serving YOUR community every day in so many ways.

We’re committed to building a strong community where we can all live, work, and play safely.

Here’s just a couple of ways we’re doing just that.

Cetronia opens the doors of their ambulances for public tours, provides activities and giveaways and answers questions about health and safety at community events such as National Night Out, Movies in the Park, Touch-A-Truck, Trunk-or-Treats, Safety Town for elementary school-age kids, senior fairs, kids expos and more.

We help to keep the region safe by offering our standby services at local sporting and community events, fire department training sessions, and support fire and police during emergency calls.

Education is also an important part of Cetronia’s mission and community events are great opportunities to share information in fun and creative ways! Hundreds of students also come through our doors each year to take the next step in their medical journey. Our certified teaching staff helps train new parents and grandparents-to-be on car seat safety. They also help train seeing eye dogs to be calm, focused, and ready for an emergency. The team also provides the knowledge for Girl / Boy Scouts to achieve their First Aid Badges! We’re training the next generation of Cetronia team members!

We’re here for you and your loved ones 24/7.

Can we count on your donation today?
