Medical Education

Cetronia’s Education programs are carefully designed and crafted with an aim of training the community: professionals, youth, business groups and individuals. Cetronia strives to continually create a healthier and safer community.   Our associates are dedicated to providing the people served by Cetronia with outreach, knowledge, training and the support necessary to promote health, safety and emergency preparedness.

EMSVO Course
Course Dates: October 9 and 10, 2021 from 08:00 – 17:00; Must attend both dates, have current drivers license and be at least 18 years old. Registration due by October 1, 2021; $100 per person paid with registration; Maximum of 10 students. Register/Pay for the course here: 

Course Dates: October 15, 2021 from 18:30 – 22:00; October 16 & 17, 2021 from 08:00 – 16:00; November 5, 2021 from 18:30 – 22:00; November 6 & 7, 2021 from 08:00 – 16:00
ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL DATES. BOOK REQUIRED: IFSTA’s “FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES INSTRUCTOR” 9th Edition (not included in class price).This program will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to present training programs in an organized and professional classroom setting. You will be tasked with developing lesson plans, presentations, and evaluation tools. This class addresses the methodologies of teaching and learning. This program follows the standards as defined in NFPA 1041 and the PSFA, Office of the Fire Commissioner.Registration is due by October 8, 2021; $250 per person paid with registration (book not included, but it is mandatory for the class); Maximum of 20 students. Cetronia Ambulance Corps is dedicated to the ongoing education of our employees, volunteers and our communities. Cetronia’s continuing medical ed programs are methodically designed to challenge our Pre-Hospital Registered Nurse, Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians and Paratransit associates. Our department also provides services for all knowledge levels, and has developed programs aimed at training other public health and safety professionals, community members and youth interested in healthcare as a career choice.
