2020 Associate and Milestone Award Winners

We’ve got some big news to share! At our Annual General Membership Meeting on December 8, 2020, we announced the winners of our Associate and Milestone Awards. Each of the associate winners received a plaque and gift card; milestone winners received a service pin and gift card.
Support Associate of the Year: Joseph Kunkle
Hire Date: 07/09/2001
Joseph has worked as Paratransit, EMT, and currently as a Controller. Joe also helps with facilities items when asked, including working with Director of Project and Facility Management Michael Nagel on the pickup and delivery of our new vehicles.
Paratransit Associate of the Year: Jesse Calarco
Hire date: 10/31/2014
Jesse works as a full-time Paratransit operator. He serves as an FTO for new Paratransit associates and has been recognized as someone who has been specifically requested by some of our customers for their transports because of his compassionate caregiving skills.
BLS Provider of the Year: Alysha Messer
Hire date: 1/4/2017
Alysha started as a volunteer then moved into paid status as a FT EMT. Alysha serves on our Compliance Committee and also assists as an FTO. In the 1st quarter of 2020, Alysha was a co-winner of the Above & Beyond award for consistently doing more than expected to help her co-workers when needed.
ALS Provider of the Year: Bryan Artz
Hire Date: 09/10/2010
Bryan has worked his way up the Cetronia career ladder from his start as a part-time Paratransit associate to becoming a full-time EMT. He then successfully completed paramedic school becoming a full-time paramedic in 2020. Bryan also acts as an FTO for new hires to the organization. Bryan, along with Paramedic Miquel Rivera, reenacted a cardiac arrest save they had of David Heinze for a promotional video.
