Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Class

The PHTLS course improves the quality of trauma care and decreases mortality. The program is based on a philosophy stressing the treatment of the multi-system trauma patient as a unique entity with specific needs.
You will learn: Breathing, ventilation and oxygenation; Circulation, hemorrhage and shock; Patients with disabilities; Patient simulations; Physiology of life and death; Scene assessment; Patient assessment; Airway
This course has been approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Health for 16 hours of continuing education credit for all BLS/ALS EMS Providers.
