Cetronia Ambulance Corps is pleased to announce its recent hire of Benjamin A. Brown as Communications Center Manager. Cetronia Ambulance Corps is one of the only EMS agencies in the region to have its own communications center, which helps boost logistic efficiency.

Brown, age 47, formerly served with the organization as an EMT and Dispatcher from 2011 to 2015. More recently, he served as the director of operations for Eastern PA MedCom where he oversaw the day-to-day operations of an emergency communications center that covers a six-county region. Brown also maintains his EMT credentials and serves for both Macungie and Emmaus Ambulance Corps.

In his new role, Ben will be responsible for the logistics of a fleet of more than 40 units. “This is a critical position within our organization. We were looking for someone who was forward thinking, and goal oriented to help us grow with the everchanging EMS industry. We feel we have gained the right person in hiring Ben,” said Robert F. Mateff Sr., CEO, Cetronia Ambulance Corps.

“I am excited to rejoin the Cetronia family. The organization has grown, and is continuing to grow, and I am looking forward to using my experience to help navigate that growth from the systems side,” said Ben Brown.

Ben earned an associate degree in Specialized Business Management / Marketing from Allentown Business School. He also completed a Leading High Impact Teams course from Kellogg School Management, Northwestern University. He resides in Emmaus with his wife and three children.
