Communications Center Transport Scheduler
Cetronia Ambulance Corps has several positions currently available on a rotating 12 hour night shift. We are seeking well organized individuals with excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and data entry skills. These positions will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and assigning non-emergency transport requests. Previous scheduling experience helpful but we will train the right individuals for this opportunity.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with all phone call information and scheduling of transports
- Organize and route trips based on schedule and location to ensure optimal performance
- Assist drivers and transportation providers with problems or issues relating to scheduling
- Establish and maintain effective communication with transportation providers and facilities
- Report and record all incidents to the applicable manager
- Document and report provider no shows or on-time-performance issues
- Inform transportation providers of their next-days trips and any new trips that occur
- Monitor radio, telephones and on-road provision of service for quality improvement programs
- Record time of departure, destination, and expected time of return
Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed indoors in an airconditioned or well-ventilated facility.
- Work is performed in an office or cubicle space with a phone and computer and employee will spend long times sitting, performing data entry, and looking at a computer screen.
