DESCRIPTION:April 23 and 24\, 2022 from 08:00 – 16:00; Must attend both dates\, have current drivers license and be at least 18 years old. \nParticipants will gain and/or verify a broad range of competencies associated with emergency vehicle driving\, including basic understanding of emergency vehicle operations and skills necessary for practical application. This internationally known course is highly recommended by several state\, regional\, and local emergency service entities. \nIt is a 2-day training that involves classroom and hands-on training. Participants must attend both sessions. \nEVDT provides emergency vehicle operators with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely operate an emergency vehicle in emergency and non-emergency scenarios. The Pennsylvania Department of Health requires that all EMS operators take a DOH-approved course prior to operating an emergency vehicle. Topics covered in EVDT include: legal aspects of emergency vehicle operations\, navigation and route mapping\, driver roles and responsibilities\, basic driving skills\, and proper driving procedures. \nRegistration due by April 15\, 2022; $100 per person paid with registration;\nMaximum of 14 students. \nRegister Now

SUMMARY:EMSVO / EVDT Course
DESCRIPTION:February 26 and 27\, 2022 from 08:00 – 16:00; Must attend both dates\, have current drivers license and be at least 18 years old. \nParticipants will gain and/or verify a broad range of competencies associated with emergency vehicle driving\, including basic understanding of emergency vehicle operations and skills necessary for practical application. This internationally known course is highly recommended by several state\, regional\, and local emergency service entities. \nIt is a 2-day training that involves classroom and hands-on training. Participants must attend both sessions. \nEVDT provides emergency vehicle operators with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely operate an emergency vehicle in emergency and non-emergency scenarios. The Pennsylvania Department of Health requires that all EMS operators take a DOH-approved course prior to operating an emergency vehicle. Topics covered in EVDT include: legal aspects of emergency vehicle operations\, navigation and route mapping\, driver roles and responsibilities\, basic driving skills\, and proper driving procedures. \nRegistration due by February 18\, 2022; $100 per person paid with registration;\nMaximum of 14 students. \nRegister Now
