SUMMARY:South Whitehall Township Emergency Services Youth Camp
DESCRIPTION:June 16 – 20\, 2025; 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. \nRegister \n(6/20 will end after a family picnic and awards at noon)\nCamp is for ages 12 – 16 years old and is FREE! Camp is sponsored by Cetronia Ambulance Corps\, Cetronia Fire Company\, Greenawalds Fire/Rescue\, South Whitehall Township Police\, South Whitehall Emergency Management\, and Woodlawn Fire Department. A special thanks goes out to Upper Macungie Township Bureau of Fire for their smokehouse training. Also\, Lehigh County Special Operations and Emergency Management\, Allentown Bomb Squad\, and LVHN MedEvac for their time and effort during the week. \nAs your “Health On Wheels” provider\, Cetronia Ambulance Corps has been saving lives and partnering with the community since 1955. The South Whitehall Township Emergency Services Camp will offer youth the opportunity to learn about the important role that public safety workers play in the community\, as well as provide a basic understanding for pursuing a fulfilling career in emergency services. \nOur youth programs are designed to offer a hands-on and exciting educational experience. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the following aspects of emergency services: \n\n\n\nLife Saving Skills\nCPR & First Aid\nVehicle Extrication & Rescue\nPolice & Fire K-9s\nBomb Squad\nSpecial Operations & Tech Rescue\nFire Fighting\nEmergency Communications\n\n\n\nMain location: Cetronia Ambulance Corps\, 4300 Broadway\, Allentown\, PA 18104 \nCampers will travel to different locations throughout the week. Transportation will be provided by Cetronia Ambulance Corps. A full schedule will be provided on the first day of camp. \nParticipants will be given a camp t-shirt on the first day and are to wear the shirt throughout the week. Lunch will also be provided each day. \nCamp enrollment is limited to 24 participants. \nUpon receipt of your registration\, you will receive a packet of information for the camp including forms that must be signed by the camper’s parent or legal guardian and returned prior to June 16.
