DESCRIPTION:May 14 and May 16\, 2024 from 18:00 – 22:00; and May 18\, 2024 from 08:00 – 16:00. \nMust attend all three dates. \nSign up here. \nThe 2nd edition of NAEMT’s Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) course teaches EMS practitioners and other prehospital providers how to respond to and care for patients in a civilian tactical environment. \nThe course presents the three phases of tactical care and integrates parallel EMS nomenclature: \n\nHot Zone/Direct Threat Care that is rendered while under attack or in adverse conditions.\nWarm Zone/Indirect Threat Care that is rendered while the threat has been suppressed but may resurface at any point.\nCold Zone/Evacuation Care that is rendered while the casualty is being evacuated from the incident site.\n\n$300 per person\nMaximum of 14 students\nThis course is accredited by CAPCE for 16 hours of continuing education credit\, and recognized by NREMT.  \nPayment is due with registration.
