Continuing Education for Field Providers

Cetronia Ambulance Corps is an approved continuing medical education sponsor by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.  In an effort to strengthen the quality of care provided and enhance skills of pre-hospital providers, Cetronia's Education Department coordinates regular continuing education programs for not only Cetronia staff but for other pre-hospital providers in the region. To maintain their certification, First Responder's must complete 16 hours of continuing education and EMT's must complete 24 hours of continuing education prior to the expiration date of each three year certification.  To maintain eligible for medical command authorization, Paramedics and Pre-Hospital Registered Nurses must complete 18 hours of continuing education per calendar year.
